When you sign in to MoonBee using Google Sign-In, we receive the following information from your Google account:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your Google profile picture

We also collect information you provide directly while using the Service, including:

  • Session recordings made during speech practice activities
  • Progress data and usage history within the app
  • Any information submitted via our contact form

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create and manage your MoonBee account
  • Provide and personalise the speech practice features of the Service
  • Track and display your progress over time
  • Respond to enquiries and support requests
  • Improve and develop the Service
  • Comply with our legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Children's Privacy

MoonBee is designed to support children's speech development and is intended to be used under the supervision of a parent, guardian, or qualified Speech and Language Therapist. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. Accounts are created and managed by adults (parents, guardians, or therapists) on behalf of the children they support.

If you believe a child has provided us with personal information without appropriate consent, please contact us immediately at info@moonbee.app so we can delete that information.

4. Data Storage

Your account data is stored securely using Google Cloud infrastructure located in London, United Kingdom (europe-west2). Media and session recordings are stored on Cloudflare R2, which does not transfer data to third parties for advertising purposes. Your data does not leave the UK/EEA without appropriate safeguards in place.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We only share it in these circumstances:

  • Service providers: Google (authentication and account data, stored in London europe-west2) and Cloudflare R2 (media and session recording storage).
  • Legal requirements: Where required by law or valid legal process.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at info@moonbee.app.

7. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights

9. Third-Party Services

MoonBee uses Google Sign-In for authentication and Cloudflare R2 for media storage. Your use of Google services is subject to Google's Privacy Policy. Cloudflare's data practices are described in the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
